Making use of the passcode screen in apps

i'm new ios programming - please keep in mind.

i've come across several apps perform action when wrong passcode entered passcode screen. example apps take photo , it. best way work data entered passcode screen?

please note, talking main passcode screen user has set (not custom passcode screen developed in app).

grateful if can point me in right direction.

 

i assume talking apps jailbroken phones? best of knowledge there no public api this.
