Mac Mail custom folder please help

hi,

have macbook air, , have created few custom folders in mail app keep things organized. however, these folders not show on mail app on imac.

there way these folders show on devices?

i presume have created custom folder under 'on mac'. these local mac not sync computer. need drag folder imap account gmail or icloud, these sync other computers. suggest backup before make change in case goes wrong (which unlikely).
