i'm new here , ask drawbacks of purchasing refreshed imac 2012 on day of refresh , not waiting 1 or 2 months after release, people on forums have suggested?
surely must fine buy machine if willing install updates, if needed?

as technology, adopters tend experience higher manufacturing defect rates. increase likelihood of needing run apple few times trading in box until 1 perfect if buy first batch.
lately, macs , ipads these have been screen problems. can in 1 of 2 general categories:
- light bleeding edge - genuine defect, , apple needs replace device
- yellow tinge on screen - always, glue attaching screen. needs time dry properly, , if first batch rushed, won't have time. clears after time of usage.
