WTF is Apple doing with iTunes and users on older OS?

i updated itunes 10.6 10.5.3 on snow leopard. 0 issues on old version , on mac running lion. nothing else changed before update. itunes crash shortly after startup. crashed many times not usable. google search reveal long support thread on apple support forum. fix "downgrade" 10.5.3 apple makes b***ch do. had search web file. apple removed old itunes file can't trusted site. wtf! apple.

first sign of apple ******* without steve @ wheel? itunes bread , butter , not work on sn huge flaw. else has same issue?

don't update if running other lion.

 

on 1 of apple forums, appears diagnosed apparent problem iphoto '09. have no idea why itunes update 10.6 influenced iphoto (maybe sort of integration of iphone/ipad photos iphoto?) had fix appeared work several people.

apple rectify situation soon. run sl on both macs , haven't updated yet itunes 10.6, guess i'll wait until 10.6.1.
