simple TM vs CCC question...

just wondering, correct me if i'm wrong.

if experiencing sort of problem main os ( snow leopard or lion, whatever), if ccc, problems there 2 right ? because of being bootable, copies 1:1, can wrong permission maybe?
, if tm, i'll need format hd install os again, , restore tm up. rid of possible problem, better ccc ?
