Setting up mixed Airport Extreme network

hello everyone.

lucky , found listing used airport extreme a1354 model incredibly cheap ($10).

roommate moving out , taking horribly hacked linksys wifi router him thankfully. (he installed firmware crack makes horribly unstable , convinced core of our connectivity issuers have here)

plan replace hackbox router new me airport extreme. need connect it.

1 x xbox 360 wired
1x htpc wired (windows 7)
1x hp pavillion dv9000 wireless n (windows 7)
1x macbook pro 1.1 wireless g (until airport extreme card upgraded)
1x ipad 2
1x powerbook g3 “lombard” wired (os x 10.4)
1x unknown dell laptop wireless g (windows 7)
1x hp pavillion ze4500 wireless g (windows xp pro,may not capable of wpa2)
1x generic home built windows pc wireless g (windows xp pro)
1x wd 250 gb usb hdd via usb port time machine purposes.

concerned mix of wifi types operating systems in network.

should out setup. dell laptop , generic xp pro machine ging away @ end of april thankfully.

 

the thing can think of watch out 802.11b devices not able use wpa2 encryption. (with exceptions).
