despite awkward name apple announced last week new ipad (we’ll continue call ipad3!), signs it’s going big hit. suspect many of lined @ minute, , it’s time give info maximizing chance jailbreak ipad3.
there few bits of news already.
can confirm method used jailbreak ipad2 4 months ago (before corona) still works in 5.1. means we’ll @ least able our foot in door required kernel dumps on ipad3. that’s important step, no means end of story.
of following @i0n1c may have noticed he’s tweeted pictures of ipad2 jailbroken @ 5.1. far know, he’s using method unrelated 1 mentioned above. great news!
we’ve seen bits , pieces of entirely different jailbreak method being investigated close cydia repo scene.
that’s 3 different angles, , we’re not including continuous work @pod2g makes towards new jailbreak! always, keep in mind preliminary progress, , it’s impossible predict how or when these things turn out. thing need remember golden rule:
don’t update new ipad3 past whatever ios comes shipped with!
