How to find out which proxy server i am using?

i think internet connection (uni) requires proxy, because browser not resolve until check autoproxy discovery, both wireless , wired connections. wondering if there way find out proxy server , port being used. computer macbook pro , system lion. many in advance!

 

i'm not familiar proxies first comes mind see output of netstat. traceroute can narrow down host is.
