External Monitor with speakers

dont have room on desk external speakers own great pair dont use them, dont need blast sound out of mbp

first question need external monitor built in speakers if plan on using mbp in clamshell mode? or sound still come out of mbp lid close enough


if bad , choice buy monitor built in speakers can recommend one, i've noticed in searching narrowing choices if built in speakers must

 

no not need external speakers. although bit muffled, speakers work in clamshell mode.

no need buy speakers, use headphones if need sound. if must sound, use great pair of speakers have or buy pair sit next monitor. if lack space, consider mount monitor either via ergotron desk mount or wall mount. mounting monitor, gain desktop space speakers.
