anyone had problem - go answer email , when you're done typing, notice cancel/send buttons grayed out, screen freezes (but can still type) , hard reset brings email app normal... , have lost part or of response.
usually, happens after i've been interrupted in writing response , saved "drafts" folder. when re-open it, above situation occurs 50 percent of time. it's pita, can't figure out why happens.
can out of email (it's icloud email) app , work in other apps, if re-open email - it's stuck in same situation. btw, checked see how many apps have open recent time, , basics (mail, contacts, calendar, app store).

i've done research , appears not unusual problem icloud email. there's long thread in apple's forum on thing. no solution. appears ios5 "glitch". there's hope expressed next update offer fix.
