hi guys i'm pc user have macbook pro (lion) fresh off of clean install , want create disk image backup. have trial version of super duper 2.6.4 i'm willing pay full 1 if need be.
on pc use acronis true image 2011 , have images backed on external hard drive can restore @ time bring computer how when image taken.
want exact same thing super duper, , again i'll wanting save image external hard drive. i've read through manual i'm still kind of confused different options , image options sparse image, read or whatever.
want create image can restore @ time bring computer state, acronis on pc.

i prefer carbon copy cloner. it's free , quite simple use. can create bootable backup of drive, keep backup current regular incremental backups. if internal drive dies, can boot backup , you're , running again.
