my wife scored 2006 mb pro core duo next nothing can't complain....but told has been sitting closed years...the screen looks has yellowish dingy tint around edges (about 1-2 inches way around screen)...i assume because has been sitting long without being opened...is there kind of fix or live is....
i possible screen damaged, have not standard hw problem.
try changing brightness full , leaving screen on alot, usage might make tint wear off. can change power settings keep on time.
rerun monitor calibration.
tint, not dirt/deposit on screen.
thoughts off top of head.
sounds got bargain though, aside screen thing.
