USB port isn't working on Macbook Air 13"

hi everyone,

i'm writing in hope can me.

week ago computer network hacked, , got tech guy on out, used disc on external disc drive, , since then, hasn't worked properly. thought problem disc drive tried plug ipod in , didn't work either.

have shut down computer , started pressing command + option + p + r, , nothing happened. have installed software updates, didn't work either.

if nothing else works guess i'll have take in fixed, i'm not looking forward week without laptop.

 

sounds it's time osx reinstall.
