Recovering a forgotten password by the user

i have login screen in app user required enter password in order use app functionality. think best , secure way identify user identity , showing him password?

 

it's never idea show current password result of kind of "i forgot password" feature. allow see password not supposed to, bad if rightful owner uses password other things. it's better reset password after person answers security questions or whatever.
