Library, 2 AppleTvs, and a laptop. Airplay or Homeshare?

silly question,

have imac itunes content appletv1 connected. trying see if can control second appletv2 laptop yet use media primary imac library.

sit in front of laptop day , want use control appletv hooked stereo (no tv).

possible?
make sense?

 

you can...
share library imac.
run itunes on laptop, , access shared library.
send music tv via airplay.

there's no way control tv directly computer, if have ios device, share library imac, play on tv, controlled remote app.
