Iphone not recognized

so have been booting jailbroken iphone ibooty because havent swiched on untethered version yet. today tried boot , phone wont charge or recognize phone unless in dfu mode. plugging in phone turn on not charge , can still boot ibooty jailbroken state wont charge phone or recognize in itunes unless in dfu or recovery mode. wont charge xbox or roommates laptop. feel booting on startup of iphone not allowing charge or connect dont know what... appreciated. thanks!
