iPhone 4S Green Screen

all of sudden on saturday, screen on wife's 4s went green. attach picture of problem, screenshots normal.

time not green when screen brightness turned way down lowest possible level.

trying figure out if software or hardware issue , can possibly troubleshoot before taking apple store.

 

i suggest factory restore first, if doesn't assume it's fault in lcd connector constitute manufacturer's defect apple store have handle.
