Has DLC stopped you from buying a game?

i must admit, i've never played mass effect game. i've wanted crash party while, thought might wait mass effect 3 , crash course in other 2 friends played (since don't have time play through 2 massive games these days). set put preorder down last month read dlc. hear dlc mega important , released on day 1.

i'm contemplating getting street fighter x tekken, if avoid march launch , wait till autumn when vita version released - i'll load of additional fighters. it's capcom fighting game i'm tempted wait super edition.

, today heard new resident evil: operation raccoon city game not have day 1 dlc, it's console exclusive xbox 360 version.

i'd buy each of these games, i'd double dip on sfxt ps3 or pc version alongside vita one. thought of spending £40 on each of these games , not complete game puts me right off.

----

dlc can be handled well. in steam sales i've picked content just cause 2 because dirt cheap and adds real value game - have beaten , mess around overpowered vehicles.

motorstorm rc cheap game around £5 mark. comes content £1 can unlock content without working it. perfect! great shortcut people want have bit of fun without working @ (and people exist, more workload , i'd 1 of people).

in team fortress 2 massive game low price (until when went free)... i've watched grow since pre-order beta. 7 or stock maps , no customisable weapons silly , varied fps on market. in game can found, traded, built. don't have time? can buy in store.

---

day 1 dlc means developer or publisher decided on, create content, ship content full price game withhold it.

has thought of dlc ever held buying game?
think dlc ruining experience of buying full game @ launch?

wondering if you've read paul tassi's article on dlc , mass effect 3

last console game bought saints row 3 , dlc weapons or car or that.

mass effect 3 dlc, understand why people pissed. same online fps's dlc amounts having big advantage on other players.

tassi suggests, consumers don't care , have money blow anyway, these companies end pimping everybody, ethical or not.
