Apple TV 3rd Gen 8gb?

any info or guesses on how onboard storage third atv have? same 8gb atv 2, wonder. 8gb seem tad low new 1080p files knows.

 

the general assumption seems 8gb again. that's plenty of space buffering 1080p though not enough space hold whole 1080p files such converted bd without pinching compression. if streaming functionality done, bigger files should que @ computer , pulled on in background bits there when ready display. hopefully, that's case.

i'm sure ifixit or similar reveal within 3 days. personally, wish apple had built in option hooking whatever local storage desire (normalized) usb port and/or built in sdhc or similar port beef local storage space if desired.
