USB soundcard recognized as usb device but not as audio output (sometimes)

howdy all,

i've got usb soundcard/dac , of time running smoothly. however, dac not recognized system being audio device , have reboot sound out of it. so:
- device recognized being usb device time
- doesn't show audio device in system preferences
- i've tried sudo "kill -9 `ps ax|grep 'coreaudio[a-z]' |awk '{print $1}'`" in attempt kill/restart coreaudio , thereby fix problem. doesn't work

after reboot works should , can select device system preferences.

know how fix issue or kill/restart , how in order work without rebooting system.
