Price Advice About to Buy a new 13" MBP i7

hey - i'm pull trigger on below b&h. deal?

$1,407 - 2011 mbp 13" - 2.8ghz i7, 4gb ram, 750gb 5400 rpm hdd
278 - crucial 256mb m4 ssd
95 - apple care
$1780 - grand total - usd

i'm going replacing desktop built 4 years ago - intel quad core q6600 @ 2.4ghz 4gb of ram , 320gb hdd. typically use emailing, internet, photoshop/lightroom , basic hd home videos of kid. i've got itunes library on synology nas hooked dlink 655 router.

should it?! need ssd? should 8gb of ram? have ride of desktop i'm losing office.

don't think it's worth upgrading i7. it's not quad core, still dual core.

if going replace hd, go i5 $1,104.76* (at macmall) assuming don't charge tax.

i'd buying samsung 830 256gb ssd on sale today $299 @ newegg. decide if want rid of optical drive , move 500gb drive location.

8gb around $35-50. upgrade sure. 16gb $100 right @ newegg.
