hey everyone. i'm pretty new slr photography , far, have 3 lens kits , i'm trying add one. i'm looking lens has zoom capabilities. far, i've come down few options.

canon 18-55mm
canon 50mm ef f/1.8
canon 28-135mm usm

i have 55-250mm, have yet use it. hear great things it. shoot indoor sports on crop sensor 70-200mm f2.8. hoping outdoors , try on girls softball (obviously have athletic daughter). looking it? not suggest either shooting indoor sports. outdoor should fine. i've looked @ serveral images shot canon 55-250mm , quite sharp. considering selling tamron 70-300 vr outdoor, giving shot , based on saw suspect hold on it.
guessing uses, suggest looking hard @ canon. not fan of super zoom type lens. focal lengths covered. if perhaps vacationing , wanting pack light, i'd @ tamron 28-300 though have not researched it.
