i've had 3 accounts itunes on past 8 years. while majority or purchases exist under 1 account (my current , account), 270 songs previous itunes accounts.
if purchase itunes match, happens these songs? itunes match block them, or treat them other track? in advance.

-no drm means no trouble. itunes has been drm free since halfway 2009. can check yourself. sort date of purchase. go show info. file type: 'protected aac' or similar, , on right side 'fairplay version'.at point after june 2009, there separation. purchased after time not have drm.
can transfer files current account starting itunes match, select files have icloud status 'matched'. delete them not select delete in icloud. stay visibile in library. select again , click download. downloaded under account used itunes match, in 256 bit quality , out of trouble.
-drm (purchased before approxiamtely june 2009) , purchased on different account means mixed expierence. see thread full description. songs strangely enough still matched, others won't. can manually remove drm, otherwise can't used itunes match. had last bit confirmed apple support.
-to make choice, use smart playlists oversight of situation.
-if tell exact date on itunes became drm free, helpfull. not announcement @ macworld date in practice.
