iSight: "Another Application is Using Your Camera"?

periodically, 1 of applications not relinquish control of isight. have no idea culprit is, result, have restart or login/logout.

there way identify application in question? i've closed of major apps out , no luck, must smaller process.

green isight led not lit.

screenshot ichat. photobooth displays loading indicator (like ajax throbber) , camera never loads.
