iCloud CardDav access

my primary computer runs snow leopard. due various reasons, can't helped.

iphone 4s , ipad 2 on 5.0.1, can use icloud fine. realize have migrate mobileme icloud because mm being phased out.

i've managed ical on o x 10.6.8 working icloud. filled in necessary information caldav server (p04-caldav.icloud.com), , username , password, , worked.

however, addressbook proving more challenging. tried multiple times , multiple ways of setting carddav connection icloud, none proved successful.

tried p00-contacts.icloud.com p09-contacts.icloud.com inclusive. noticed phone uses p04, tried them anyways. tried:

https://p0x-contacts.icloud.com:443/[uid]/principal

tried:

https://p0x-contacts.icloud.com:443/[uid]/carddavhome.


none works. new suggestions?
