Pegasus Promise R4 with SSD

i have purchased pegasus promise r4 ssd replacements 1tb hitachi hds installed oem. ssds 160gb, sata ii (3gbps), intel 320 series. read on mac site, think "nufunk" or something, recommended using 6gbps ssds if going try placing ssds in pegasus promise. said there problems in general ssds working pegasus promise. know if has tried results were. report mine once , running.

using raid support storage on mac mini peicing together. interestingly, replacing 2011 mac mini's 2 500gb hds 1 intel 520 series (6gbps) 250gb ssd , 1 intel 510 series (6gbps) 120gb ssd. installing 16gb of corsair (mac specific) ram. may discuss outcome of mac mini in separate post, gather belongs organization.

if has tried using ssds in pegasus promise, know how successful was. thanks.

yes, should run sataiii (6gbps) ssd's in pegasus if you're going run ssd's @ all. otherwise you're going run out of bandwidth drives send data before run out of bandwidth on thunderbolt.

more importantly, why mixing , matching drives? seems you're playing fire.
