pc user here ready make switch. have done lot of research on imac last month , want one. have money make jump 27" want opinions first. think best way explain using for... here goes!
work company called moto electric... doing lot of picture taking, putting onto iphoto, adjusting it, , uploading pictures website (www.motoelectricvehicles.com)
doing videos time.. planning review on each vehicle means movie used quite bit. not plan on playing games on computer @ all.. @ desk in office. other that, using internet along other cool apps photoshop cs5 etc.
know can ram cheap... not worried ram. need i7? ssd.. know standard come 1tb hdd. guys think? also.. display.. 27" worth 400.00 doing?

for photo work, larger screen better. go 27"
video work, faster processor better. go i7
photo editing on larger scale opted 27", , on occasions have work video i7 processor appreciated.
ram - as can put in there out well.
ssd ??? still considering.
might add in ssd system/boot/apps ..... keep 1tb open projects being worked on.
of final work product copied off imac , replicated on 3 other physical drives. 1 of drives " off site " added data security.
