i think people underplaying new retina display havent quite grasped amazing achievement is.
has more pixels high res 15" macbook pro. there 1 computer in entire mac lineup has more pixels, , 27" imac. unbelievable!
filmmaker (who dabbles in photography), cant wait see how industry embraces this, 4k , 8k technology becomes norm. must photographers dream. photos more clear on ipad other device own.
curious see how performs secondary computer monitor. current app solutions work on wifi , create lag understand, cant wait see how innovative developers improve experience.

its amazing. original ipad 2 decent @ holding images dslr images 'optimised' down around 3mp. retina, display 3mp , images supported go 18mp or so.
not resolution, vastly improved iq , saturation too.
justify buying 64gb photo frame. good. long time before technology viewing photos blown away again. we're talking decade or more.
4k & 8k technology looks on paper apple seem ones add value , accessibilty mass market. software makes magic come alive.
