How long does it take to charge 1st gen iPad?

hey people use help. did test today , results less impressive. 1st gen ipad dead decided see how long took charge fully. didn't charge 100%, charged 5 1/2 hours (with charger included) , got 82% charge.

how long take charge 1st gen ipad?
if replace battery improve charging time?

help!

 

usually 1-2 hours around 20% 100%

use week unless play lots of games on it.
