tried watching rented itunes movie tonight family--normally plug ipad our bigger hdtv using hdmi out adapter. tonight first time i've attempted new ipad, , got "this accessory not compatible ipad" message. did try restarting ipad, restarting tv, connecting tv on, connecting off , turning tv on after. nothing seems work.
according apple's support page on issue, if click through message, should still work, mine not. read adapters manufactured before 2012 having issue.
i'm sort of wondering if apple trade adapter new one. had luck this?
p.s. side note, did end watching our movie right on ipad sitting on coffee table. though little, picture quality absolutely amazing. , sound wasn't shabby either being 1 little built in speaker.
