i'm looking buy portable 1tb hdd, backing mbp. i've read western digital passport studio (sturdy) , passport essential se (less sturdy) , wondering whether there opinion on better in terms of performance/usability/reliability, or indeed, 1 of seagate range preferable? views of interest. in advance. km
all drives go bad.
recommend external raid1 (fw800) you're secured if 1 drive goes bad.
