Being "forced" to upgrade to Lion by Apple

i have @mac.com email account aswell mobile me (@me.com). got email apple loose ability have access email, though mail program, on snow leopard because of whole icloud business. can access mail in safari. called apple , said have upgrade lion use these accounts in mail.

thing is, have lion on mbp , hate it!! have powerpc applications desperately need business. need email accounts accessible in mail on systems practicality reasons , because dont want have emails in safari window.

else have problem this?
think utter disgrace cut off people using best osx far, snowleopard , apple email accounts.

 

it possible use icloud email snow leopard.
