I think something is wrong with my macbook pro

i bought first ever macbook pro christmas , love it! but, think wrong , don't know if should concerned.

every time mac starts up, hear noise coming bottom right side of computer. sound not long...maybe 2 or 3 seconds in duration. sounds mechanical. macs make noise @ while starting? normal? mac damaged? going have fixed asap?

 

i guess it's cd drive. @ boot time, boot manager checks whether there bootable cd in drive... that's sound hearing.
