reduce size of partitions in finder window

when browsing in finder 'columns' selected, there seems big gap between folder / file name , next dividing partition. bit annoying flipping between folder / files using directional keys on keyboard.

how can make default theres less space between folder name , partition - bit annoying having re size finder window.
