Guild Wars 2 Anticipation Thread! :) (PC)

the gw2 beta starting soon. can run game on intel mac installing windows via bootcamp. sure read version of windows macos supports. understanding macos 6&7 support windows 7. macos5 supports vista. i've not verified 100% see apple bootcamp article.

guild wars 2 promises innovative new approach mmorpgs. traditional mmorpg trinity of tank, healer, damage roles have been tossed. there no dedicated tanks or healers. in fact, according i've read, best heal skills self heals. there no traditional "tank-grabs-aggro" mechanism in game. if unfamiliar, (aggro= aggravate), character's ability grab attention of in-game character , make attack , you, tank, while receiving constant healing , support other party members during fight. in gw2, aggro based on proximity , reported mobs have unique aggro a.i.!

healing & death in gw2- article provides strong indication gw2 not going cookie cutter mmo. find interesting how play out while grouping. there defacto healer? no. self heals best.
