Converting iPhone Project to Universal

hi,

created iphone app using regular iphone template in xcode 4.3. wondering how can make universal can run on ipad , iphone. when change device tab universal in target summary, no new files added, settings. there convert ipad button in xcode 4 creates new files?

there no such thing create new files. need yourself, thing older xcode did - (before storyboarding , such, because still haven't looked it) - create seperate mainwindow xib, start off, rest make
in target project settings, there should around ipad startup settings, u can start doing such things.
