Typographic Portrait Help

want achieve similar effect attached file portrait of somebody.

can give me advice on how this?
have portrait, thinking of making high contrast version of portrait putting text on top, cutting around text.

question how can bend or curve text, see in attachment under eyelids example.
, help.
