i got new imac today , far impressed seeing upgrade 2006 imac. have 1 question regarding ram though ordered base model 4gb ram thinking me , if needed upgrade cheaply enough. have run activity monitor following figures have had since turning on afternoon:
vm size - 204.44 gb
page ins - 5.42 gb
page outs - 2.5 mb
swap used - 38.7 mb.
should give me cause concern or should try resetting mac , see if gets better results when i'm not downloading , installing programmes how want?
or should 8 gb ram crucial safe against future usage?
yea, 8 more 12. should give oodles
