iPhone & iTunes on wifi router..

i've set external hard drive on router can access music/movies in itunes on mac air without taking space on mac. works great.

wondering whether can same on iphone?
without having have macbook open using itunes home share.

possible access external hard drive on wifi network iphone? .. it's 4s if makes difference & running 5.1 - no jb
