iPhone 4S Bluetooth Problem

hi, today upgraded basic iphone 4s. have rocketfish blutooth stereo headphones have used on old phone (lg cosmos) , ipod touch (2nd gen). after getting new iphone 4s set today, says sound distorted on headphones (which paired fine btw). not sure whats wrong, not sure can fix. please help!
