How to remove Bookmarks Bar folder from ipad?

i have searched on (see link below) none of instructions work me. have new ipad 2 , computer pc windows 7. don't use "bookmarks bar" folder on ipad , want remove it. able on iphone it's not working on ipad. telling itunes sync bookmarks ie , replace information on ipad, although bookmarks, bookmarks bar still there. tips?

i'm not sure if want, did go settings app , turn off "always show bookmarks ba"?
