Windows user to MacBook Pro

hi all

have had iphone 3g 4s, ipad 1,2 & 2 3g.
being little bit of apple fan boy, man. counting years.
have been pc user since mid 80's , understand pretty windows throws @ me. today took jump macbook pro 13" i5 processor.
guys @ apple store showed me basics, although there few things with.
1: monitoring net traffic on mac. windows example "netlimiter"
2: there "notes" found on ios, or "wordpad" found in windows.
3: there way see harddrive in desktop, "my computer" in windows.

can't think of else update if more questions. in advance
