have had strange problem at@t mobile hotspot on iphone 4. iphone not show on other devices hotspot, when turned on. when turned on, off, on. when turn off, reboot iphone , turn on.
neither ipad nor macbook air can see hotspot.
happens maybe 10% of time. rest of time ipad , mba see , connect right iphone when turn on hotspot. , when happens, problem seems cure after hour or so.
happened in restaurant today. rebooted phone twice , mba once. still never showed up. got home , tried half hour later , viola, shows right on list of networks.
don't it.
must big bug in ios maybe? try restoring
