Hidden Tethering iOS App

so there app in app store out has hidden tethering in it. called irandomizer numbers. link application is: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/irandomizer-numbers/id492253787?mt=8

how enable tethering:
1. open irandomizer application
2. in minimum text box, type in: 1984
3. in maximum text box, type in: 31337
4. voila! welcome tethering screen. here can establish ad-hoc wifi connection iphone , share internet connection!
5. enjoy

 

will ipad connect it? figured i'd play guinea-pig. numbers access hidden tethering mode, nothing happens when hit "start."
