First Mac product - Get now or wait?

as pc user, massive apple fan (got ipad 2, 4s , atv2) find myself wanting mba.

have not used mac, due fact of want 1 if used 1 thought.

long story short, partners mum bought 21" imac , ended helping them out few things (i work in it), , wow, how

bought magic pad (i think called) , awesome. other things come osx.

pal bought 11" mba , bought round, thought lot smaller was, awesome, perfect portability.

i'm thinking of replacing ipad 2 mba 11" , getting thunderbolt 27" display use when i'm sitting @ desk (also gb ethernet etc).

want go out , purchase 11" mba, should wait? ive done long enough without mac , ivy bridge processors intel out shortly best wait?

know wont lose £££ upgrading (and have upgrade) i'm not sure do...

how expecting lose if new release comes out in april/may?

dilemma ........................

i anticipate release summer fall. intel's ivy bridge cpus coming april. if want now. macbook air work laptop i'm not concerned getting outdated. desktop has core i5 geforce gtx 470- plenty o' power gaming!

intel follows tick tock strategy. ivy bridge more refined version of sandy bridge slight improvement. hd 4000 graphics significant update, ultra book. not gaming :/ not big of deal me anyway.

13" mba. $100 more (or maybe applies uk pounds, not sure pricing) bigger screen , bigger battery. sd card slot. i've done dual screening desktops. trust me it's way annoying have small screen paired large screen. 11" screen going annoying when need on 27" screen.
