Where did it go?

i purchased lion today , downloaded macbook not computer plan install on. want transfer download thumb drive can't find it. it's not in download folder, be? don't know specific file name can't search it.

 

did go ahead , upgrade computer on downloaded lion? if installer deleted after upgrade. time have burned thumb drive after download , before starting upgrade.
