Wake Mac for Apple TV?

hello,
i'm using apple tv , i'm having problem waking imac access drive. have home sharing on, , wake network access. ideas?

version of os x imac running? there known issue on 10.7 (i believe versions) whereby computer not wake 'on demand'. there thread on macrumors myself , others have been contributing in attempt work out solution, far there no definitive resolutions. there are, however, few things detailed in thread may able try chance of success:
