stream problem from itunes

i purchased newest apple tv recently. anyways, when tried stream movie had ripped , placed in library, take on 15 mins play. on other hand, copy exact same movie ipod touch, play immediately. had noticed, airplay faster pulling media itunes. know causing lag?

 

without lot more info particular setup it's impossible say.

e.g. macbook running osx lion streams handbrake encoded on atv2 setting dvds atv3 on 5ghz wifi perfectly.
