Photos on new iPad look dull?

hi everyone...

so, i've set new ipad, looks great, screen looks great, no issues, busy showing off listen difference between two, when...

pulled identical picture on ipad 2 , on new ipad, , side side, new ipad picture looks dull in comparrison.

i've checked brightness of screen, , ensured they're both same, still can't away fact photos duller.

else notice this? there fix? delete photo's off, , re-install them them optimised new ipad?

im not sure if use word dull, sheer resolution of screen makes sort of flaws in photos more noticeable.
