Is Lion Better Then Snow Leopard??

i have 2011 13" macbook pro thinking installig lion got 8gig of system memory see better difference performance , less beachballs & etc between snow leopard & lion or run same??? p.s. have system booting in 64bit mode well
use system web surfing,email,facebook , imovie video editing , uploading youtube via avchd files made h.264 mov files 720p

 

some people think it's better , people have downgraded.

try , see if or not.
